Cuban Spicy Cuban Deviled Ham Spread

courtesy of Sandra Brisiel

1 8oz block of Philadelphia Cream Cheese (softened)
2 cans of deviled ham
2 Tb spoons of ketchup (to taste) - you can more for a stronger tomato taste
3-4 splashes of Tabasco sauce (add more or less depending on level of heat you desire)
Salt and Pepper to taste.

Blend all ingredients until smooth and consistent. Serve with Cuban crackers or Cuban bread. (We even make sandwiches with white and potato bread)

Comments by Sandra, a first generation Cuban living in the U.S.: Our family has a ham spread that is a little different, but we've used it for years and fight over it when someone makes it. It makes a great lunch too.
