1 teaspoon of jarabe granadina.
Juice from half of a green lime

The daiquiri (not to be confused with the typical frozen beverage), is recognized in Cuba as one of Ernest Hemingway's favorite drinks.  Hemingway, who typically frequented two main watering holes in Cuba, was known for the phrase "My mojito in the Bodeguita, and my daiquiri in the Floridita." He was referring to the Bodeguita del Medio in Havana, and el Floridita bar, another favorite of his in Havana.
