Throwing a Cuban theme
party?
I'm often asked what are
the best meals to serve, music to play, and decorations to use
for a Cuba-themed event. Some of the best answers can be
found on the
Cuban Theme Party thread of the site's message board.
But for starters, typical
Cuban meals include Moros y
Cristianos (black beans and rice),
arroz con pollo (yellow rice
with chicken), ropa vieja, and Cuban sandwiches.
Where do the recipes
come from?
Many of the recipes on this
website are submitted by its visitors. Some are
reprinted with permission from various cookbook publishers.
